If you enjoy history and talking to others, consider volunteering at the David Davis Mansion as a tour guide! We’ll provide all the training!
Many of our volunteer tour guides have been with us for several years and really enjoy giving tours! They meet people of all ages from our community, as well as visitors from across our state and country who are stopping in to see the mansion during their vacation.
The David Davis Mansion is open for tours Wednesday-Saturday, and our volunteer tour guides work flexible shifts from 9am-1pm or 1pm-4pm. Some work several days, while others may only work 1-2 days per month. There are also occasional opportunities to lead special tours during public events or field trips!
Our volunteer tour guides take many forms: retired people, stay-at-home parents whose children are in school during the day, high school or college students looking for a volunteer experience, and more! Some of our volunteers are employed and only work on Saturdays. If you’re interested and available, we’d love to have you!
This meeting will take place at the David Davis Mansion Visitors Center, located to the left of the main gate.
Note: If you decide to become a volunteer, you’ll be asked to return for a training session.
